E. Belzile et D. Cloutier, Entrapment of the lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve exiting through theforearm fascia, J HAND S-AM, 26A(1), 2001, pp. 64-67
Isolated lateral antebrachial cutaneous nerve entrapment syndromes are unco
mmon. This report describes the compression of the lateral antebrachial cut
aneous nerve of the forearm at the level of its passage through the superfi
cial antebrachial fascia, distal to the elbow crease. Numbness and a painfu
l dysesthesia over the radial aspect of the volar forearm were documented.
Failure of conservative treatment necessitated surgical decompression. (J H
