Abstract
Free falling atomic laser beams with sufficiently weak inter-atomic interac tion are investigated. An approximate solution of one-dimensional Gross-Pit aevskii equation with gravitational potential is obtained by using the WKB analysis. This shows the effects of the inter-atomic interaction on the vel ocities of bosonic atoms. The analysis is extended to investigate the inter ference pattern of two atomic laser beams.
