Abstract
The paper presents a comparative analysis of already published correction m ethods for the readings of Pitot tubes under conditions of strong velocity and pressure gradients. The results obtained suggest the superior performan ce of these formulae which take into account the actual value of velocity g radient in measuring point. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd.
