Abstract
The oxidation of Ti(eta(6)-1,3,5-(C6H3Pr3)-Pr-i)(2) with FeCp2[BAr4], Ar = C6H5, p-C6H4F, 3,5-C6H3(CF3)(2), affords good yields of the param agnetic derivatives of titanium(I), [Ti(eta(6)-1,3,5-(C6H3Pr3)-Pr-i)(2 )][BAr4]; these compounds have been characterized by conventional meth ods, including single-crystal X-ray diffractometry of i(eta(6)-1,3,5-( C6H3Pr3)-Pr-i)(2)][B(p-C6H4F)(4)].
