Nanocrystal BaTiO3 and polymer (R)(n)M+X- are mixed to make a composite mat
erial. IR and XPS spectra of the composite material were analyzed and compa
red with those of BaTiO3. The humidity sensor made of the composite materia
l shows better humidity sensing properties than the BaTiO3 sensor such as h
