Abstract
In this paper we prove the lower semicontinuity with respect to the weak to pology of the Kobayashi distance in a bounded, convex and open subset of a reflexive Banach space. We apply this result to the Denjoy-Wolff theorem fo r condensing mappings in the unit open ball in a strictly convex reflexive Banach space with the Kadec-Klee property.
