Abstract
The article gives a review of the influence of the selenium compounds on th e accumulation of biomass and synthesis of the secondary metabolites during the growth of the vegetative mycelium of Penicillium chrysogenum (isolates 19), P, nigricans (isolates 117), Acremonium fusidioides (isolates 108) on the liquid medium. The stimulational influence of low concentrations of co mpounds on these aspects of vital functions of mentioned kinds is found.
