Abstract
The method for estimating pathogenicity of fungi from the genus Botrytis wa s developed. The variability of pathogenicity of specialized species of Bot rytis and isolates of less specialized species B. cinerea on wild and cultu red plants was estimated and compared. The increase in spores concentration in suspension which was used for leaves inoculation intensified the level of contamination with specialized species (B. convallariae, B. peoniae, B, tulipae) and unspecialized one (B. cinerea) as well. The groups of isolates in B, cinerea population on cultured strawberry were determined with cluster analysis method. These groups differed in the degr ee of pathogenicity on 5 testers and the latent period.
