Abstract
Uromyces transversalis G.Winter is newly recorded in New Zealand, being fou nd on Anomatheca laxa, Gladiolus spp., Melasphaerula ramosa, and Tritonia s pp. Puccinia iridis, which has been known in New Zealand since 1956, is rec orded on a new iridaceous host plant, Gelasine elongata.
