We measured the resistivity of the itinerant ferromagnet SrRuO3 as a functi
on of temperature (120 K < T < 180 K) and magnetic field (0 < H < 10 kOe) i
n the vicinity of the ferromagnetic phase transition (T-c similar to 150 K)
. We find that the magnetic resistivity rho (m) is related to the magnetiza
tion M by rho (m)(M) = rho (m)(0) - aM(2) over a wide range of M. From the
analysis of the resistivity data we determine the critical parameters of th
e phase transition beta = 0.34+/-0.02, gamma = 1.14+/-0.07 below T-c, gamma
= 1.17+/-0.14 above T-c, C+/C- similar to4. Here beta and gamma are the cr
itical exponents of the spontaneous magnetization and the susceptibility, r
espectively, and C+/C- is the amplitude ratio of the susceptibility. Our re
sults are supported by a collapse of the magnetoresistance data on a single
curve when an approriate scaling function is used.
