Abstract
Pair correlation effects in the transfer processes have been investigated t hrough an odd-even staggering in the measured yields of Q-value integrated multi-neutron transfer channels in the Ni-62 + Pb-206 system at three bomba rding energies close to the Coulomb barrier. The experimental results for t hese inclusive transfer data suggest a dominance of a sequential mechanism in the transfer process.
