Low-lying levels in Xe-119 - art. no. 024321

The decays of Cs-119m and Cs-119g to Xe-119 have been studied on mass-separ ated samples, using gamma -ray and internal conversion electron measurement s. Several new low-lying levels have been established in the Xe-119 level s cheme. Half-life evaluations for Cs-119m and Cs-119g have been revisited. T he results are compared with other experimental data known in light odd-mas s xenon isotopes and with calculations performed in the frame of the multis hell interacting boson-fermion model.
