Abstract
Oncological scintigraphy is described in two dogs with malignant lymphoma a nd malignant schwannoma, respectively. The distribution of the radiopharmac euticals could be visualized for the purpose of detection of neoplasia and eventual metastases, and to evaluate the effectivity of therapy. It is concluded that (99m)Technetium MIBI and Tc-99m DMSA (V) scintigraphy is useful for the detection of soft tissue malignancy in dogs.
