Abstract
The objective of this randomized pilot trial with 21 patients was to evalua te the effectiveness of a rhenium-188 liquid-filled balloon system to preve nt recurrent restenosis after percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplast y for in-stent restenosis. A significant benefit from brachytherapy was see n at 6-month repeat angiography, as well as during the clinical follow-up o f 12 months.
