Abstract
The novel precursor [(BuNHP)-N-t(mu -NBut)(2)PNH2] (1) provides easy access to polycyclic main group systems; reaction with Sb(NMe2)(3) gives the tric yclic species {[(BuNHP)-N-t(mu -NBut)(2)- P}(2){Me2NSb(mu -N)}(2)] (2), whe reas reaction with an excess of (BuLi)-Li-n results in elimination of LiNH2 and the formation of the co-complex [{(BuNP)-N-t(mu -NBut)(2)P}(2)N]Li-3 ( (BuLi)-Li-n)(2), (3), containing the unprecedented [{(BuNP)-N-t(mu -NBut)(2 )P}(2)N](3-) trianion.
