Abstract
Unsymmetrical ketones were conveniently prepared from the unsymmetrical dio rganyl borinates via the insertion of dichlorocarbene into C-B bond under L iquid-liquid phase transfer catalysts conditions and oxidation with alkalin e hydrogen peroxide in 35-67% yields.
