Ms. Lei et al., Quantum squeezing effects of a non-dissipative mesoscopic circuit with coupled inductors and capacitors, CHIN PHYS L, 18(2), 2001, pp. 163-165
The quantum fluctuations of the charge and current in a non-dissipative mes
oscopic circuit with coupled inductors and capacitors are studied for the s
queezed vacuum state. The influence of the phase angle upon the quantum flu
ctuations is discussed in particular. Our results indicate that when the ci
rcuit parameters remain constant and the phases theta of the two circuits a
re equal, the squeezing of the charge or its conjugate variable increases.
When : the difference of the two phases equals pi, the squeezing will deter
iorate. Therefore, if we want to decrease the quantum noise, we should not
only control the amplitude r, but also control the phase theta carefully.
