Whether focus groups and individ ual interviews reveal similar valuation information has not been thoroughly studied. The research tests the hypothesis that focus groups yield the sam e ecosystem service information as do individual interviews. The research a lso explores how the focus group and individual interview data might differ . The analysis skews that focus groups and individual interviews are not su bstitutes.
