Abstract
This paper will highlight some new developments in the use of aramid f ibers, with special reference to transmission belts. It covers both ya rn activation systems and dip systems, which together ensure a balance d property profile in terms of mechanical performance, adhesion, and f atigue behavior in elastomeric matrices.
