Abstract
A general boundary element formulation for the stress analysis of bodies wi th ageing viscoelastic constitutive relations such as concrete or biologica l materials is presented. It is shown that in the case of a constant Poisso n modulus, the domain integral vanishes. Otherwise, the domain integrals ar e taken to the boundary by means of the dual reciprocity method.
