Information concerning the interconnection of processes that occur on the s
urface and in the depth of the sea can be obtained by studying optical fiel
ds in the sea with a multizonal apparatus containing channels for the IR an
d visible ranges. A description is given of the optical layout of a multizo
nal airborne system for observing processes in the ocean that can serve as
the basis for designing an airborne apparatus suitable for a wide range of
