Abstract
The scattering of a cold atomic beam by a perfectly conducting spherical ma ss when gravitational and quantum electrodynamical, retarded dispersion for ces are simultaneously relevant allows one to naturally introduce and reali stically measure the Planck mass in the laboratory.
