Abstract
The multiplier block digital filter design algorithms recently introdu ced by the authors, are found to design superior filters, in terms of complexity minimization, to two well-established techniques, namely th e sigma-delta coding of coefficients, and the cascading of simple sect ions using genetic algorithms.
