Ordered dusty structures formed of spherical monodisperse and polydisperse
grains are obtained for the first time in a nuclear-track plasma produced b
y alpha -particles and fission fragments of Cf-252 nuclei passing through n
eon or argon. A theoretical model of such a plasma is proposed. Monte Carlo
computer simulations based on this model are carried out to explain the fo
