Pyrolysis of hydrocarbons from lignite semicoking tar in the range 750-900
degreesC at a contact time within 0.5-6.0 s was studied. The yields of pyro
carbons, pyrolysis gas, and liquid products and the group and component com
positions of the liquid and gaseous products were determined. The optimal p
yrolysis parameters from the viewpoint of obtaining the maximal yield of pa
rticular "secondary" hydrocarbons were recommended.
