Pyrolysis of asphaltenes from lignite semicoking tar in the range 750-900 d
egreesC at a contact time within 0.5-6.0 s was studied. The yields of pyroc
arbons, pyrolysis gas, and liquid products and the group composition of the
liquid products were determined. The total analysis of the major groups of
compounds present in the Liquid products was performed, and the optimal co
nditions of pyrolysis, from the Viewpoint of preparation of particular comp
ounds, were recommended.
