Abstract
Upon treatment with a palladium catalyst, (o-iodoanilinoalkyl)allene compou nds undergo intramolecular carbopalladation of allenes followed by intramol ecular amination of pi -allylpalladium complexes to afford indole derivativ es in fairly good yields.
