Abstract
New stable commercially available peroxyacids have been studied for th e destruction of toxic organophosphorus and sulfur compounds. In the p resence of some long chain ammonium salts the reaction is very fast. A n alternative to this micellar catalysis is the addition of long-chain ed ammonium hydroxide to the peroxyacid.
