Abstract
The granulite is one of the most important rocks in the earth. Its formatio n was controlled mainly by the condition of terrestrial heat. Their main fo rmation models are related to continental collision, continental extension and continental are. In some extent, granulite is the synonym of the lower continental crust. By research of granulite terranes and granulite xenolith s in volcanic rocks, composing and structure of deep substance in the earth could be realized directly. Research of granulite is a key point to unders tand formation and evolution of continental crust.
