Abstract
Neodymium-based homogeneous catalysts for the polymerization of 1,3-butadie ne, calixarene neodymium(C[n]NdxCly)/Al(i-Bu)(3) and C[n]Nd/Al(i-Bu)(3)/Al( i-Bu)(2)Cl were examined. The binary systems based on C[n]NdxCly were found to be active even in the absence of halogen source, while adding Al(i-Bu)( 2)Cl as the third component, the catalytic activity was improved. Polymer o btained has (M) over bar (v) about 1x10(5)similar to 2x10(5) and cis-1,4 co ntent 90%. The ternary systems based on C[n]Nd also had an activity of buta diene polymerization, the effect of different calixarenes on the catalytic activity of ternary system is in the order of C6>C4>C8.
