Using n[TC16PyP(4)]/n (anthraquinone)(1 : I) mixture as film-forming materi
al, the film-forming property of TC16PyP(4)/AnQ mixture on the air/water in
terface was studied. The structure of mixed TC16PyP(4)/AnQ LB films was cha
racterized by pi -A isotherms, UV-Vis absorption spectra and low-angle X-ra
y diffraction (LAXD). The experimental results indicate that the TC16PyP(4)
/AnQ mixture can form a stable monolayer on the air/water interface. Most A
nQ molecules are incorporated into the cavities between the long alkyl chai
ns of TC16PyP(4) molecules in the mixed monolayer and LB films. Mixed TC16P
yP(4)/AnQ monolayer can be transferred to the substrates. TC16PyP(4)/AnQ LB
films have a good stability and periodicity.
