Abstract
The surgical treatment of triangular fibrocartilage complex (TFCC) tears in athletes includes TFCC debridement or repair depending on the location of the tear. In cases associated with an ulnar abutment syndrome, arthroscopic ally assisted ulnar shortening or a shortening ulnar osteotomy must be incl uded with the TFCC debridement. The postsurgical rehabilitation of the athl ete must be tailored to the athlete and his or her sport.
