Abstract
Critical micelle concentrations and surface properties of the amphiphilic a ntidepressant drugs amitriptyline, nortriptyline and desipramine hydrochlor ides in aqueous solution at 298 K were determined by surface tension measur ements. Combining the surface parameters with the standard Gibbs energy of aggregation DeltaG(m)(0) calculated in a previous paper, the standard Gibbs energy of adsorption, DeltaG(ads)(0), was obtained.
