Abstract
The development of software radio drives a requirement for octave-band line ar amplifiers. Here, one linearisation technique. feedforward, is presented as an applicable architecture for this requirement. The realisation of thi s architecture requires octave-band operation from its sub-components. Two techniques are compared that facilitate this need within gain stages - line ar compensation and direct RF feedback.
