Abstract
In this work, the green up-conversion emission in LiNbO3:Er3+ ion-impl anted planar waveguides under near IR pumping (750-1000 nm) was studie d. Three excitation regions were observed, Two of them correspond to r esonant two-photon processes, while the third one seems to be due to a n avalanche process.
