Abstract
The optical and acoustic phonon assisted relaxation of free hot excito ns in ZnSe quantum wells is reflected in photoluminescence excitation spectra. Slow thermalization of excitons on a 100 ps time scale is dir ectly observed in time-resolved studies of luminescence in the spectra l region of the phonon sideband.
