Two new pentacoordinate ligands containing two pyridine 2-carboxamide units
connected by -(CH2)(n)-N(Me)-(CH2)(n)- links have been synthesized. The li
gand with n = 3 affords a monomeric Cu(II) complex, while the one with n =
2 gives rise to a ligand-shared dimer.
