Abstract
An effective method is proposed for numerical calculation of the absor ption line shapes of molecular aggregates with diagonal disorder. The absorption intensity is expressed as a resolvent of aggregate Hamilton ian and then fluctuations of average transition energy in aggregate ar e separated from the relative energy fluctuations.
