I. Renge et Up. Wild, COUPLING OF HIGH-FREQUENCY PHONONS TO THE ELECTRONIC-TRANSITIONS OF IMPURITY MOLECULES IN POLYMER MATRICES, Journal of luminescence, 72-4, 1997, pp. 529-531
Persistent holes were burned in the S-1 <-- S-0 transition of 2,7,12,1
7-tetra-tert-butyl-tetra-azaporphine embedded in a broad range of poly
meric solids and used to investigate the electron-phonon coupling (EPC
) processes in the temperature range between 5 and 30-50 K. Relationsh
ips were established between the strength of EPC and the bulk properti
es of polymers, such as velocities of transversal and longitudinal ult
rasound waves, mechanical moduli, total heat content and polarity.
