We measured the mechanical response of He-3 and He-4 bilayer films on a 2D
mesoporous Hectorite from 0.1 K to 4 K using 10MHz ultrasound. Below a cert
ain coverage, we observed the slippage of nonsuperfluid films at low temper
atures. This behavior was well described by a film-substrate fractional for
ce with a thermally activated process. Furthermore we found that this slipp
age is inhibited by the appearance of the fluid slate on the "inert" layer.
