Abstract
The construction and performance of a compact indium heat switch are descri bed. The switching ratio of the normal to superconducting states is similar to 65/T-2. The switch design has the advantages of simplicity of construct ion and small physical size. The thermal conductivity of the normal and sup er-conducting states of this switch have been measured and are reported for 100 < T < 400 mK.
