Jy. Lee et al., Analyses of the nuclear level structure and nucleon interaction data for Fe-56 based on the soft-rotator model, J KOR PHYS, 38(2), 2001, pp. 88-98
The soft-rotator model is applied for self-consistent analyses of the nucle
ar level structure and nucleon interaction data of Fe-56. The model succeed
ed in describing the experimental collective levels of Fe-56, which exhibit
ed neither he typical rotational nor harmonic vibrational structure, up to
an excitation energy of 5.5 MeV. The available nucleon interaction experime
ntal data were described up to 160 MeV with reasonable accuracy in a couple
d-channels optical model approach with coupling built using nuclear wave fu
nctions of the non-axial soft-rotator Hamiltonian model consistent with the
nuclear structure of Fe-56.
