Abstract
Thin film formation in aqueous Ag-triethanolamine (TEA) solutions has been studied. It was found that this bath can be used to deposit bath Ag and AgO thin films on glass or polyester substrates. Uniform, specularly reflectiv e films with thickness up to 1.2 mum were obtained from a single bath at 50 degreesC. X-ray and some basic optical investigations were carried out for both films.
