Abstract
Hybrid revascularisation (HR), combining minimally-invasive left internal m ammary artery (LIMA) bypass grafting to the left anterior descending corona ry artery (LAD) and catheter interventional treatment of the remaining coro nary lesions, avoids the disadvantages associated with cardiopulmonary bypa ss. We report on six patients with a significant left main-stem stenosis un dergoing HR. Our results indicate that HR is an effective and secure proced ure in patients with a left main-stem stenosis. However, in two patients, r eintervention was necessary because of restenosis documented in the 6 month follow-up.
