Abstract
The three dimensional stability of ion-acoustic double layers in a magnetiz ed plasma consisting of warm ions and non-thermal electrons is investigated by the multiple-scale perturbation expansion method of Alien and Rowlands [J. Plasma Phys. 50, 413 (1993)]. It is found that the double layer solutio ns obtained from the combined MKdV-KdV-ZK equation are stable.
