Abstract
The effect of thermal motion of charged particles in the filamentation of a nonrelativistic current-driven plasma in the diffusion frequency region is investigated. The period and the establishment time of the filamentation s tructure and the threshold for instability development are obtained. (C) 20 01 American Institute of Physics.
