The superhigh frequency dielectric properties of aqueous solutions of methy
l ethyl ketone were studied in the temperature range 288-308 K. The special
features of the experimental methods currently in use were analyzed. The f
requency dependences of permittivity (epsilon') and loss (epsilon ") obtain
ed in a wide frequency range (10-110 GHz) obeyed the Debye equation. To wit
hin the accuracy of measurements, no additional relaxation processes were o
bserved in the high-frequency millimeter hand region (80-110 GHz). The rela
xation times and the enthalpies of activation of dielectric relaxation were
calculated for solutions of acetone and methyl ethyl ketone. an increase i
n the relaxation times of both solutions was evidence of water structure st
abilization.
