Abstract
Formation constants for complexes of sodium and anthracene crown ethers wer e determined using spectrophotometry and cyclic voltammetry. The complexati on properties of the ligands examined depend significantly on alkyl substit uents at 9 and 10-positions of the anthracene group and are strongly influe nced by the solvent.
