Abstract
Organic electroluminescent (EL) device was fabricated with poly(N-(p-diphen ylamine) phenylmethacrylamide) (PDPMA) Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) film as a hol e transport material and Alq(3) as an emitting material. The PDPMA LB film was prepared by using arachidic acid as an active material. The photolumine scence and electroluminescence properties of organic multi-layered device c onsisting of ITO/PDPMA LB film/Alq(3)/Al were investigated. Green emission with a luminance of 400 cd/m(2) was achieved at DC drive voltage of 14 V. E specially, PDPMA LB film dramatically lowered the drive voltage of the devi ce to 5 V.
