Abstract
The rate of plasma expansion in the direction perpendicular to the magnetic field lines was determined and the turbulent plasma diffusion coefficient was calculated using data obtained by methods of X-ray diagnostics. A corre lation between the plasma diffusion coefficient and the amplitude of the RF oscillations in the system was established. This correlation leads to an i ncrease in the electron temperature and the expansion of plasma in the radi al direction. The transfer processes in the plasma are markedly influenced by the magnetic field: for example, the relationship D-tau similar to 1B(2) was observed in the range of magnetic field strengths B < 2 kG.
